Current KDrama Watchlist: Good Boy, Our Unwritten Seoul, Oh My Ghost Clients & One: High School Heroes

If you’re nose-deep in revenge thrillers, ghost mysteries, or underdog heroes, same here. This is my Current KDrama Watchlist: a mix of hard-hitting feels, found-family chaos, and a few supernatural twists that keep me coming back for more every week.

Why Good Boy Stays on My Current KDrama Watchlist
Progress: Waiting for Episode 9
Why I’m Hooked: Poor Dong Joo (Park Bo-gum) just can’t catch a break, trauma after trauma, and now he’s up against Min Juyeong, who might be the most twisted mastermind yet. I’m here for Dong Joo’s grit and the unstoppable Special Criminal Investigations Team: ex-athletes, goofy mishaps (the drug-laced candy, the toxic fire ants!), and heartbreak in equal measure.
Verdict: Still one of my faves for the found-family vibe and Dong Joo’s fight to keep standing tall.

Our Unwritten Seoul: Slow-Burn Mystery on My Current KDrama Watchlist
Progress: Waiting for Episode 11
Why I’m Hooked: The twin swap is so fun to watch and it’s easy to forget it’s the same actress playing both. The Rosa Restaurant arc was touching, but that ending twist? Ho Soo losing his hearing again just as they saved the restaurant, oof.
Verdict: A healing, slice-of-life watch with a sprinkle of romance and family feels.

Oh My Ghost Clients: Why It’s on My Current KDrama Watchlist
Progress: Episode 4
Why I’m Hooked: I didn’t expect to cry this much. The “ghost of the week” cases are funny and heartbreaking from the teen intern’s senseless death to the bullied nurse’s tragic end. I love that Mu-jin’s whole ghost gig started with drunkenly giving his card to a statue of Justice.
Verdict: Makes me laugh and tear up. Justice for the forgotten souls, one case at a time.

One: High School Heroes — School Drama That Earned a Spot on My Current KDrama Watchlist
Progress: Episode 4
Why I’m Hooked: Feels like Study Group meets Weak Hero Class 1 , Kim Ui-Gyeom is a quiet genius forced into brutal fights. The walkman incident, his brother’s dark secret, the shady dad and grandpa, it’s classic bully revenge but with thrilling fight scenes that keep me hooked.
Verdict: Not groundbreaking but satisfying vigilante fun. Bullies getting wrecked never gets old.

What’s Next?
Thinking about finally diving into Squid Game 3 to see what the hype is about. Should I hit play or wait?
